Advisory Team (SCAT)
Yoder formed this team to represent a wide cross-section of the fresh flower industry, including 40 members from bouquet manufacturers, growers/importers and retailers (SAF regions and independent), to supermarkets and wire services.
Feedback from this advisory team indicated a need to clear up confusion in the spray mum marketplace by glossary of terms and color classification. Yoder has worked with the team to develop these standards and communicate them throughout the marketplace.
Spray Mum Color Chart
This is a pocket-sized tool for retail floral buyers to use when ordering spray mums from their wholesaler or grower suppliers. The tool shows standardized color classifications, flower forms and sizes to improve communication when placing an order.
